Lower Androscoggin River
The Lower Andro is home to some of the best smallmouth bass fishing in New England. There are sizable northern pike that come out to play in the spring and fall. We use a Hyde drift boat to float this 6 mile stretch. This boat comfortably holds two anglers and it’s just the right size to slide into those hard to reach places. During peak season it’s possible to land over 40 fish on a full day trip. This is a great summer trip where you can catch some rays and lots of fish on the fly. This is a great trip for beginners that fishes well from May through October.
