The Penobscot River is the largest river in Maine. It starts on the Canadian border which makes up the west and east branch. In Medway it comes back together forming the main river where there are endless oportunies to chase smallmouth bass. The Penobscot is one of the best smallmouth rivers in the country. 30 fish days are average and 100 fish days are not unheard of. We use 4 to 8 weight fly rods or lite spinning rods ,depending on your abilty. All gear is included if needed.
The river is mostly undeveloped and more days than not I do not see another soul.
